BIG DOG the dog robot

With a 2.5 feet tall and 240 lbs weigh, this robot can travel 12.8 miles without stopping to refuel. Its dynamics are very close to a dog's movement, which gives it the ability to travel into every place humans and animals can go. This robot is a real combination and strong relation between mechanics, dynamics, electronics and informatics. In several years, this kind of robots can be used as a transportation mode in jungles, deserts, mountains etc.. It can be used for rescue missions. But like other transportation systems, robots must respect ISO norms. These norms are applied to the used material, to the embedded software, to the whole development and construction phases. Testing and validation is a large phase in a product's life cycle. This validation phase is more complex if the product is related directly or indirectly to human's or animal's health. Decades ago, enviromental issues has obtained lots of norms, therefore, all current products must be enviroment friendly.

Microsoft "Courier" secret tablet

We have heard a lot about Microsoft Courrier Tablet. It's a two screen device with Windows Operating System. Facing the Ipad, this project is being abandonned by the big company. A similar project is being rethinked by HP with their Slate Tablet. About 1 million Ipad have been sold in less than a month. The Apple is going to start selling their tablet in the european market at the end of May.

Does Mirosoft have a more innovative project? What about HP?
Are we going to see different tablets soon in the market?

My first Message
